Items We Do Not Accept
At Junk110, safety and environmental responsibility come first. While we remove most household and commercial junk, there are certain hazardous or restricted materials we cannot legally or safely handle.
Below is a list of items we do not remove:
🔥 Hazardous or Flammable Materials
- Propane tanks or pressurized containers
- Gasoline or diesel fuel
- Motor oil, oil filters, and antifreeze
- Wet paint (especially mercury-based)
- Bleach, acids, and corrosive chemical
- Herbicides and pesticides
☣️ Biohazard & Medical Waste
- Needles, sharps, and medical waste
- Blood-soaked materials or PPE
- Any bio-hazardous material
🧪 Toxic or Regulated Substances
Asbestos (any form)
Mercury (thermometers, bulbs, etc.)
Hazardous construction materials (e.g., certain adhesives or sealants)
⚡ Batteries
- Car batteries
- Lithium-ion or large industrial batteries
🏚️ Building Materials We Don’t Take
- Roofing shingles
- Asphalt
- Materials suspected of containing asbestos
🚷 Other Restricted or Unsafe Situations
